Position Description

A hospital located in Hondo, TX is currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse, to join their team full time! Check out the details below:

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Emergency Department

Location: Hondo, TX

Schedule: Full-time, Night Shift: 7P-7A, On-Call, Weekend rotations and holidays as needed

Pay: $30.00/hr - $48.00/hr, based on experience plus a full benefits package!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The ED Registered Nurse will be responsible for the following duties:

- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques

- Observe patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor and Physician of patient’s condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents

- Maintain awareness of comfort and safety needs of patient

- Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol

REQUIREMENTS:

- Current active and clean TX RN License

- Minimum of 2 years of ED experience required

- BLS certification required
