Our client is currently seeking a Registered Nurse for their Oncology clinic.

Location- Webster, TX 77598

Shift- Monday – Friday 08:00 AM – 05:00 PM

Job Type- Contract to Hire

Rate: $50.00 per hour

This job will have the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute individualized care plans based on nursing theory and patient needs.
  • Adjust plans proactively to meet departmental and patient requirements.
  • Review lab values and evaluate treatment toxicity before medication administration.
  • Maintain legible, concise, accurate, and timely medical records in EMR (Epic preferred).
  • Complete clinical logs and ensure accurate charge documentation.
  • Accurately administer medications (IV, subcutaneous, intramuscular, oral) per physician orders.
  • Start peripheral IVs, access CVADs (including port-a-caths), and follow safe practice guidelines.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Graduate from an approved RN program.
  • Current Texas RN license
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate Course (within 3 months of hire)
  • Proficient in IV therapy, CVAD access, and infusion equipment
